Excessive Sweating - Hyperhidrosis.
Almost eveyone sweats as a normal reaction to stress such as heat or exercise. Sweating is an important bodily function that allows us to control our body temperature, however, some people sweat excessively without stimulation.
This condition is called hyperhidrosis and occurs in one out of twenty people worldwide. Although this condition is not a danger to life and health it can cause severe social and psychological embarrassment. Some people are so embarrassed by this condition that they never seek help from their doctors.
Contrary to what many may believe, excessive sweating is treatable.
